During January of 2009 the NYU Jazz Orchestra directed by Rich Shemaria traveled to Abu Dhabi to perform the music of Lenny Pickett. We performed several shows including an exclusive event at the Emirates Palace. All the music here was was written and by Lenny Pickett and Rich Shemaria and performed in Abu Dhabi except the call to prayer during the mosque scenes. This is video I shot for my own enjoyment, so pardon the shaky camera work. It is now cut for your enjoyment.
